Living as a Christian according to the Bible's principles will become tougher and tougher in the times ahead. Nevertheless, we cannot compromise with the truth. God's call to us is clear:

“Wage the good warfare.”

1 Timothy 1:18

As Christians, we are not on a “holiday cruise,” but in a constant battle against the “spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). Paul's words to Timothy are unequivocal:

“Endure hardship with me as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

2 Timothy 2:3

In this battle, we are not left to ourselves. God has given us a full armor that completely covers us and gives us the ability to win every battle we encounter on the path of faith:

“… and having done all, to stand.”

Ephesians 6:13

Therefore, read more about “the full armor” in five parts in Ephesians 6:10–18. Good luck with “complete victory” today. We conquer because Jesus has fully conquered all the devil's powers and authorities (Colossians 2:14–15). We are called to PROCLAIM and WALK in His victory. But that does not mean we won't face battles:

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Ephesians 6:12

Our call and objective are not to fight against people but against the evil forces that drive people in the wrong direction. Tell the devil again and again that you come against him in the name of Jesus, with the full victory of the blood of the cross. Therefore, it says:

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

Revelation 12:11

We build solely on Jesus' victory. This is not a “dormant victory,” but a victory that we must testify about daily, a victory that dwells in our hearts but MUST be expressed through the vocal cords: “the word of their testimony.” Testify about Jesus' victory today. Let the devil HEAR WHAT you believe in and WHO you believe in. Then he will flee in haste. Who likes to hear about their life's greatest blunder and defeat? Neither you nor I – and neither does the devil. He will “FLEE from you” (James 4:7)! Some have the cross as a “dormant symbol,” while others have it as an active, living power.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER OF GOD.”

1 Corinthians 1:18

The gospel unleashes God's power to victory over all of the devil's handiwork. Victory comes through faith, prayer, confession, and proclamation of the gospel.
