In Auli outside Oslo lives Anne, who received one of the greatest surprises of her life at a meeting in Telekirken, Wednesday, May 11 this year. Her almost empty bottle of oil was miraculously filled up in a matter of seconds during prayer. But she is not alone in having experienced an 'oil adventure'!
On Thursday, June 19, Oddlaug from Molde called our office. She was mildly surprised by what had happened the night before — at Telekirken. There, she is usually a guest to listen to my preaching, prayers, and words of knowledge. Every Wednesday, there are usually close to 200 guests. Now it concerned Wednesday, June 18 this year.
Oddlaug has read in Legedom that we have dedicated anointing oil from Israel for those who are sick or who want such a small bottle sent to protect themselves against illness, accidents, etc. She applied a little oil to her body daily. A few days before, she thought about contacting us to ask for a new bottle of oil, as her oil bottle was almost empty, only five mm left at the bottom of the bottle.
The Power of the Blessing
It does no harm to bless the oil several times. Therefore, I usually bless the oil again at Telekirken. I also did this on that Wednesday. I said, “Fetch your oil bottle, hold it in your hand, then I will pray for even more power in the oil.” I waited ten seconds for our people to fetch their oil bottles. Then I prayed a prayer of faith that the Holy Spirit would give more strength to the oil — for great blessings — and said amen.
Oddlaug then opened her right hand to place the bottle on a small round table next to the telephone table where she sat. Then she got a shock: The oil bottle had become three-quarters full! She opened her eyes wide — could this be true! But true it was. She could not deny what she saw. Here is her reaction:
“I usually watch a TV program at 8 PM on Wednesdays, but this Wednesday I was strongly reminded to call Telekirken. I forgot the TV program! It’s so great that God thought of me. This surpasses most of what I have experienced before in life. When I look at the bottle, I see a miracle from God. What have I done to deserve this? I feel that God has enriched me. This is a miracle from God! I like the Telechurch concept and usually participate there. This Wednesday I received a word of knowledge. Now I will send a gift to Jesus Heals Ministries and order new oil,” the 83-year-old says, grateful and happy.
Show Off the Anointing Oil
So I ask Oddlaug a little cautiously: “Is it possible that I could have this oil to keep at the center”? Oddlaug shows great generosity and says: “This oil will mean a lot to you and those who come to the center. I will send it to you tomorrow.”
I would like to show it as a sign of God’s miraculous power. He wants to show us that we should not only expect healing miracles but also creative miracles. Like when he multiplied a few loaves of bread and fishes so that there was enough for many thousands.
Or like what the prophet Elijah and the widow from Zarephath experienced. At the prophet’s urging, she gave of the last food she had when he asked for it, some flour and a jar of oil. Elijah’s message of faith was:
“The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.” So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.”

For the poor widow, it was three and a half years of a food miracle every day. That amounts to a total of 1277 miracles. (Also read about the prophet Elisha's oil miracle: 2 Kings 4:1–7.)
“Signs and Wonders”
The Bible speaks much about “signs and wonders”. Oddlaug’s oil miracle was a sign from God of five things:
God does what He wants with whom He wants and when He wants.
God confirmed my gift of healing and miracles.
God can use a specially dedicated oil as a means to transfer His power to others.
God’s care in times of hunger and drought.
With this, God wants to expand our faith in Him as the God of miracles. God is still the creator of the earth! There are many facets to God's power. One facet is His creative power.
Now I have two oil bottles at the center with oil 'straight from heaven'. More of God’s miracles will surely follow.
I will put these two oil bottles together with the others that we almost weekly send out. So they will all be irradiated by God's power before being sent out.
