These were the words of Israel's leader Joshua to his people the day before the Jordan miracle. The priests were first to carry the ark into the Jordan. Then the miracle would happen: God would stop the water in the Jordan, and the people, around four million of them, would be able to cross on dry ground. And it happened! The ark is a picture of Jesus. In His name, miracles shall happen. The priests were God's consecrated servants who helped initiate this great miracle.
