Jesus atoned for all the sins of the world “once for all,” so that God can have a legal basis to forgive us our sins. He who was without sin was made to be sin for us. Our sin is not just hidden but removed from heaven's register of sin.
God can therefore free us from guilt.
God can therefore free us from the condemnation of sin.
God can therefore free us from a guilty conscience.
God can therefore free us from the shame of sin.
God can therefore free us from the fear of dying, for by Jesus’s blood the power of death is broken, and the door to heaven has been opened.
God gives us free access to the throne of grace in heaven – through the power of the blood.
God will give us a new, heavenly body thanks to the power of the cross, for Jesus’s resurrection was the result of a completed work on the cross. The same promise applies to all believers.
God has received full payment for all our DISEASES and wishes to free us from them ALL. Diseases were God’s judgment on sin. When sin is atoned for, diseases no longer have the right to be there.
God can free us from pain and suffering – for he bore our pains.
God has given us a perfect high priest before God’s throne in heaven, who presents the blood, secures our eternal well-being, and speaks on our behalf.
The cross is the fulfillment of prophecies in the Old Testament that had to be fulfilled.
