↑ ABUNDANCE: Life in God is not a swamp, but a SPRING – God’s water shall flow onward. It is never empty.
Strong promises from the Bible for those who need a boost:
“The Lord will give His people STRENGTH.”
Psalm 29:11
“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their STRENGTH.”
Isaiah 40:31
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13
These strong promises are taken from Psalm 29:11, Isaiah 40:31, and Philippians 4:13. Christianity is a “religion of power.”
“For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.”
1 Corinthians 4:20
No believer needs to be powerless and discouraged. Go to the Lord's sources of strength and drink from the Holy Spirit’s water as much as you wish. The promises to us are clear. Jesus says:
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
John 7:38
Today we shall be receivers of His Spirit and power: “the spirit of power” (2 Thessalonians 1:7), “the spirit of might” (Isaiah 11:2). Receive with thanks and believe that the flow is there. Then we must pass this flow onto others through our words, our prayers, and encouragements: “You can do this.” “The Lord is with you today.” “Trust in God through everything.” Let the power within you flow to others through loving actions, encouraging words – and friendly smiles. God has not asked us to be reservoirs of His power, but donors of His grace and power. There should “flow rivers of living water” to those around us. Away with teaspoons and forward with buckets – or even stronger: RIVERS. Not our power, it is limited, but GOD’S power, for it is unlimited. Do not try to pass on old blessings, but NEW STRENGTH, that which comes through “faith in the power of God” (Colossians 2:12).
Open the faith pipes by saying: “Today I will stop trying to make it in my own strength, trying to be strong. I will be a receiver of God's power and EXPECT God to use me. Now God's power shall flow from me, from my words and actions – to my neighbor.” Ask for the power, receive the power – and let the power flow from you to others.
Life in abundance. Not a swamp, but a SOURCE – God's water shall flow on. It will never run dry.
“Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”
Isaiah 12:3
