Jesus asks us to lay our hands on the sick, “and they shall be healed.” But what about the foot-to-foot method? I tried it on Maya Sørli from Sarpsborg!

A few years ago, I was out for a walk outside our house in Sarpsborg. Unknowingly, I stepped incorrectly on the edge of the sidewalk and twisted my right ankle and foot. It was very painful. I had strained tendons and muscles and twisted the ankle. I limped but preferred not to let anyone see it. I continued like this for a year without seeing a doctor.

Then one day I learned that Svein-Magne was going to speak at a meeting in the Family Church in Ås. I saw hope for help and went there. Svein-Magne asked the sick to come forward for intercession. When it was my turn for intercession, he did something strange. He placed his foot against mine and prayed that God would heal me. A minute later, he asked, “How does it feel?” At that moment, I did not have pain in my foot and replied, “I don’t feel any pain in my foot.” Then Svein-Magne took my arm and we walked back and forth across the floor in front of the church.

“Now she is healed!” he said loudly at the meeting. But I doubted it. I was just having a good day that day. However, Svein-Magne was right!

Since this meeting in the Family Church, I have been healthy and have not felt any pain in my right foot. God let His power flow from his foot into mine. And the miracle happened. I no longer limp. It has been about fifteen years since I was healed in this strange way. I thank God for that!
