↑ PRAYER FOR PROTECTION: In a world with unrest, a daily prayer for protection is important.
The Promises Must Be Implemented Through Prayer – Then They Are Activated.
All the promises have their “yes and amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20) and are part of our inheritance: “those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:12). But – it is not enough for them to just stand there "decoratively", they must be activated by making use of them and praying for protection for ourselves, our family, friends, workplace, the king, and our politicians – and not least our country, and countries where there is unrest and war – yes, the whole world.
God then sends His angels out into the world in service to individuals, countries, and peoples. We also need to pray for the protection of preachers and missionaries, mission activities in Norway, and out in the mission fields. Paul says somewhere: “Satan hindered us.” (1 Thessalonians 2:18) Had he forgotten to pray for God’s protection on the journey? Much can be said here. The Bible is full of promises that cover what I have mentioned here.
