A few miles east of the Olympic city Calgary live Clint and Dianne Cornelius. They have been pastors in several apostolic churches in Canada. It was very nice to meet them again on January 2nd this year.
In the spring of 1982, I received a letter inviting me to become an "Assistant Pastor" at the Grace Apostolic Church in the city of The Pas in the province of Manitoba. We seized the opportunity of a lifetime, sold everything, and emigrated to Canada on July 29, 1982. We were warmly welcomed into the church. I worked among both whites and Indigenous people in the district. The following year, we moved to the city of Flin Flon where I was a pastor at the Flin Flon Full Gospel Christian Center. We returned to Norway in August 1988.
We greatly appreciate the pastoral couple Clint and Dianne. They meant a lot to us during the time we lived in The Pas. Since then, we have kept in touch. Clint and Dianne have been involved in several churches in Canada since then. In 1993, they bought 160 acres a few miles east of Calgary, in the area of Delacour. Here, Clint built a beautiful house on Canada's endless prairie.
While Clint was a pastor at an apostolic church nearby, they ran an ostrich farm in Delacour for several years. This operation ceased several years ago. Clint has Norwegian ancestry. Both parents were of Norwegian descent. We are looking forward to returning to the house on the prairie!
