How many times should one seek intercession for healing? Is three or four intercessions enough? If you ask a woman in Southern Norway, she will say: Do not set a limit on intercessions!

In 2008 her son-in-law got testicular cancer. This dangerous form of cancer spread quickly to large parts of the body, including the vertebrae. The man underwent three chemotherapy treatments. It was so taxing that he developed stomach bleeding. The cancer would not let go.

His mother-in-law felt called to take the lead for her son-in-law. From 2010, she began calling Svein-Magne to get intercession:

“My son-in-law was very ill because of the cancer. Medications and treatments did not help. On the contrary, he just got worse and worse. The medicines gave him bleeding stomach ulcers. No one believed he would survive. He had undergone three chemotherapy treatments and was soon to take the fourth and final one.

At this time I decided to call Svein-Magne. Over a few months, I called 20–30 times. It happened a few times that I called several times a week. Svein-Magne prayed many prayers for my sick son-in-law. Something inside me said he was going to get well.

Then we heard that the Radium Hospital in Oslo had acquired a PET scanner. It could take sharp images of the entire body. The doctors wanted my son-in-law to be thoroughly examined and sent him there. The surprise was great when they discovered that the cancer throughout his body had completely disappeared! He no longer needed to undergo any more chemotherapy treatments! The joy was immense!

My son is a believer. He believes that God healed him of all cancer after many intercessions in 2010. Since then, he has been cancer-free.”
