A man’s prayer can transform a nation. Joshua prayed for the sun and moon to stand still. God stopped the earth’s rotation until Israel prevailed.
Israel was in a crisis during a war against their enemies, the Amorites. They needed more time to defeat the enemy. In this situation, Israel’s commander, Joshua, prays this prayer:
“Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon. So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped till the people had revenge upon their enemies… There has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.”
Josh 10:12–14
God listened to “the voice of a man” – it gives us great faith in the prayer of just one person.
“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
James 5:16
If God could stop the earth from rotating and gave Israel an extra day in battle, then I pray that your illnesses will STOP and retreat quickly. I speak in faith: STOP, cancer, COPD, asthma, allergies, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and all other diseases and afflictions – in Jesus’ name. Let my Facebook friend experience a divine miracle today, as we have much greater and better promises than those Joshua based his prayer on. In Jesus’ name, all diseases shall bow. In the name that is above all names.
“And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…”

“Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and NOTHING will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20
Jesus’ perfect victory on the cross eliminates all sickness and gives us full access to complete salvation and full healing: “It is finished!” (“paid in full”). God gave Israel total victory over the enemy. He will give you complete victory over your enemy – your illness!
And an equally important prayer: Save people in Norway and let revival come over towns and countryside! Lesson: Do not focus on the numbers; rather, think about who hears our prayer!
