↑ THANK YOU: Happy women fetch water from the well for the first time, and no longer have to walk several kilometers to fetch life-giving water.
Jesus Heals Ministries started well drilling in India around Easter in 2015. The need is very great. Our support partners have helped us help people in great need due to a lack of clean water. On May 31, 2026, a new well was completed – well no. 26!
Kotappakonda is a well-known small town in India with around 5,000 inhabitants. Two or three times, pastors have tried to build a church here, but the people of the town have opposed it every time. Ninety percent of the town consists of Hindus. In that case, there is not much Christians can do.

Some time ago, Pastor Paul succeeded in building a church there. A family among those who were previously opposed to building a church in the town, turned and joined Pastor Paul in the work of building a church there. Now there are 40–50 families in the church there (between 100 and 150 members). The name of the church is: Mohima Sannidhi Ministries.

The residents are poor. Ordinary workers in the town earn only 4–5 dollars for a day’s work. Just outside the town, there is a stone crushing quarry where the stone is crushed. The gravel is sold for the construction of roads, bridges, and dams.
The poor inhabitants there must either buy water (few can afford it), or the women must walk a couple of kilometers to fetch water from an unclean source where there are environmental hazards. The risk of disease is high.
Pastor Paul has therefore asked evangelist Timothi for help and support to build a well in that town. There are rumors that Jesus Heals Ministries from Norway has built many wells in the area. The people have asked Pastor Paul and evangelist Timothi if they could ask us if we could build a well there.
↑ FOUR SIMULTANEOUSLY: From the well, the water is constantly pumped up to the tank, and from here up to four people can fetch water for their families at the same time.
The small town is a center for a famous religious festival that is as big as our Christmas celebration. One day a year, two million people come there, to a large temple there, and every other day of the year, 5,000 to 10,000 people come there for religious reasons.
Having a well with our name on it helps open hearts to the gospel. On the well wall, the name “Jesus Heals Ministries” is engraved. Then people realize that it is the Christians who have built the well in Kotappakonda. A great honor for us! It helps to open hearts to the gospel.
