Daniel is from Ghana, but 26 years ago he came to the Netherlands. 11 years ago he got a job at Schiphol Airport. I met him while he was washing the floor outside a restaurant. I liked this simple man and gave him the salvation tract “5 Minutes to Heaven.” “Are you saved?” I asked him. He answered without blinking: “100 percent! I love Jesus and go to an African church in Amsterdam.”
I love people from Africa. Their hearts are open to the gospel – more than people in the West. We have a lot to learn from them. They do not have a thick layer of rationalism, materialism, secularism, atheism, and liberal theology at the top of their heart, which takes several years to get through – and in addition, several thousand prayers. Just like it is with most who live in Norway and other countries in the West.
