↑ God’s guidance: Perhaps it was God who brought electrician Rudolf Golondek and evangelist Svein-Magne Pedersen together at Schiphol Airport to bring the gospel to the Netherlands?
God’s ways are past finding out. While Solveig and I were sitting in a lounge area waiting for our next flight, a stranger appeared.
The table we were sitting at was positioned incorrectly. The stranger introduced himself as an electrician at this well-known airport. He came over to us and said he had to straighten the misplaced table. A small click, and the table was in place.
This table was to become God’s “spiritual click” into something much greater. I told the man, named Rudolf from Holland, that we usually use the Amsterdam airport in our missionary work. Rudolf startled and became highly interested. He shared that he was saved five years ago and belonged to a small evangelical church just outside Amsterdam. I told him about our world mission. Now he wants to visit our online magazine to read more about our work. “You must come to our church to preach the gospel!” he said enthusiastically! “I will tell my pastor about you,” Rudolf said. I gave him our tract of salvation and our beautiful magazine, Legedom. He heard about our work in India, Africa, Canada, and Norway. And we heard about his generous church.
His church distributes food and clothing to the needy in their city. Well-known preachers have visited this church. So perhaps this misplaced table by the seating area at the airport became a means to bring the gospel to Holland? God’s ways are truly past finding out!
