My daughter, who is now 34 years old, has been autistic her entire life. She has never been able to speak. For several years, she has worked at a sheltered workshop in Eastern Norway—unable to say a word.
A few years ago, we decided to attend a Miracle Saturday at the center of Jesus Heals Ministries in Vennesla, Norway. There, Svein-Magne preached and prayed for the sick. At the end of the meeting, my daughter and I went up for prayer. Svein-Magne laid his hands on my daughter and asked God to heal her of autism.
After the miracle meeting in Vennesla, we went home. The week after, she went to her work at a sheltered workshop where she worked regularly. That same day, a female leader at the workshop called me at home and asked what had happened to my daughter. For suddenly she could speak to her and her colleagues at the workshop! It had never happened before. When I heard this, I realized what had happened. Svein-Magne had prayed for her at the meeting a few days before. God had healed my daughter! I told this to the manager at the sheltered workshop.
My daughter was surprised by what had happened to her. So were the others who worked at the workshop. Before, she lived with me. Now she lives in her own apartment. She has never been able to speak before. Previously, she communicated with me by drawing pictures in response to questions. Dark colors meant something was sad. Bright colors represented joy, that she was doing well. Now she no longer needs to draw, for now she can speak.
After the meeting in Vennesla, she and I went on a trip to Japan. There, she went shopping, sometimes alone by herself!
We are very happy that we made the trip to Vennesla! I have told many that God has healed my daughter. What has happened is completely amazing!
