About a year ago Liv began to experience pain in her chest and her left arm. The pain occurred with exertion. She could no longer climb stairs or hills. The pain struck immediately when she did those activities. The general practitioner sent her for examination at a hospital. Here, angina was diagnosed. Liv had to start taking nitroglycerin. She had to take it almost every day, a couple of tablets at each episode. Only then did the pain subside.
