The prairie in the province of Saskatchewan has been called “the world’s breadbasket.” Just outside the city of Regina, I had a relative who was a farmer. We emigrated to Canada on July 29, 1982. A few weeks later, we had a family reunion outside the city of Regina. The picture shows our son Kenneth and me in the middle of the wheat field.
The picture makes one think of the words of Jesus: “The fields are already white for harvest!” When the picture was taken, I did not know that this was prophetic. Now Kenneth, along with his wife Anne-Helen, are mission workers for Jesus Heals Ministries in a town just outside the Olympic city of Calgary in Canada – on the prairie. Our second son and his wife are mission workers for Jesus Heals Ministries just outside the Olympic city of Vancouver. Our daughter and son-in-law are mission workers at the center in Norway. All our seven grandchildren are saved and live for the Lord.
The Lord has blessed us abundantly. We all burn for world missions!
