Astrid Kyvik from Haugesund struggled with painful sciatica. The pain was there day and night. Then it turned around – after prayer in the Telechurch.
“It started half a year ago with an emerging pain in the left hip. Then the pain became more intense and flowed down the entire left leg. I knew it was sciatica because I had it before and recognized the symptoms,” says Astrid (55) and describes her suffering history to me. She gritted her teeth and refused to take pain-relieving tablets. The sciatica pain raged in her body both day and night.
Painful day and night
“At night I had to try to find a position that hurt the least. Lying on the left side was impossible. The pain in my back and leg was then terrible. The best was to lie on my back,” says Astrid. “Sometimes the sciatica pain was so intense that I limped when I walked.”

I know Astrid from many Miracle Saturdays at our center in Vennesla, Norway. Over eight years she used to participate in Miracle Saturdays at the center. Astrid helped with the queue in connection with prayer for the sick in the meeting hall. She and her father, Odd, participated in all the Miracle Saturdays we organized at the center during these years. Astrid had seen many healed during this time. The meetings used to last for 12–14 hours! Now her turn had come to experience a miracle. This time it was over the phone – at Jesus Heals Ministries' famous Telechurch.

“When Svein-Magne prayed for the sick in the Telechurch, I placed a hand on my stomach and then on my back. But nothing happened there and then, but the next day things started to happen. I got better and better. Three days later I was pain-free. I’m really happy for what has happened,” says Astrid excitedly

A creative miracle happened at the same time as Astrid experienced the beginning of her sciatica miracle. “It was good to get rid of this affliction,” says a happy and relieved 55-year-old on the phone.
