↑ GO AGAINST THE CURRENT: Dare to show care where others pass by, take care of those whom no one else cares about. God gives you the strength to do good for others.

How can one experience that God's power remains over you all the time? Here is the answer: Thank God for His daily, boundless grace. Give God glory for who He is to you, what He has done for you, and what He will do—according to His promises. Here are several other spiritual truths:

Have a strong faith in the truths of the gospel. Do not dwell on the times you made mistakes and missed the mark. Cast the shame of the past on Him who took the place of shame and died outside the camp, where the worst criminals died. He did it for you, so that you would be freed from self-condemnation.

Keep God's commandments and love your neighbor. Jesus said: “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love.” Do not let hatred, revenge, and jealousy occupy your thoughts, for these things take the place of the Holy Spirit and stifle His power. If you let God rule, you stay within the “power lines” of the Holy Spirit, for then the Spirit constantly works on you and through you. Then you can live in constant divine blessing and health.

If you go outside of God's will and allow spiritual “dirt” to come in, you can lose God's protection and healing. Keep yourself under God's blessing at all times, bless people and curse no one. The judgment belongs to the Lord. God's Spirit will guide you out of traditional pigeonhole thinking.

Do not compare yourself with others. You are unique and have your own place in the Lord's body. Fulfill your calling. No one is better than you at doing what God has called you to do! Look for people in contexts other than where you are used to moving, even in sects and other religions. The Lord is there too and is drawing on them, speaking and calling. They have just opened the wrong door and ended up in the wrong place. God is looking for those who have gone astray in many ways.

Dare to be untraditional, impartial, and non-judgmental. God's Spirit will guide you out of traditional pigeonhole thinking. For that is how Jesus was. Dare to believe in God's guidance and extend your hand to all who ask for your time, your thoughts, and your help. Be generous, give a tithe and “sacred gifts” for the sake of God's kingdom. Show humility in all situations you encounter. Live to please God all the time. Then you will experience an unbroken line of blessings from the Lord.

God's Spirit is present in the most unthinkable places and situations. Dare to go outside your comfort zone. Care for those whom no one else cares about. The priest and the Levite passed by the man who was beaten on the road. But the despised Samaritan took care of him, poured oil and wine into his wounds, and paid for the care of the poor man.

Live your life under God's open heaven!
