↑ THE OIL BOTTLE: An oil bottle like this from Jesus Heals Ministries was partially refilled after it was completely empty and had been thrown away. The woman who experienced this was highly surprised by God’s creative power.
A woman from Skien received a small bottle of consecrated anointing oil from Jesus Heals Ministries about two months ago. That bottle she will never forget! Here is her testimony.
I received a small consecrated bottle of oil from Jesus Heals Ministries a couple of months ago. After a few weeks of use, it was completely empty. “There is no more oil left here,” I thought to myself and threw the empty bottle in the trash. But to be able to call the office of Jesus Heals Ministries, I needed the phone number. It was on the label of the small bottle. But the bottle was in the trash. I looked for it there—and found the bottle. But then came the shock! Instead of being empty, oil had now appeared in the previously empty bottle! I took my tape measure and measured. It measured one cm from the bottom and up to the top of the oil!
“It was empty!”
I showed it to my son. He had seen that the bottle was empty. Surprised, he said: “But it was empty!!”
I had already ordered a new bottle by then. In the meantime, I left the new bottle in the cupboard and have used the oil from the previously empty bottle from the trash can. Now it is empty again, but the miracle does not end there: a couple of drops of oil still come out of the empty bottle every time I pour oil out of it! That oil is filled with God’s creative power!” This is what an enthusiastic woman from Skien said on the phone the other day.
Why do these oil miracles happen? The answer is: He wants to “make His power known” (Psalm 106:8). Miracles are God’s best “PR machine.” There are two things God hates: He hates sin, and He hates to be forgotten and put in a museum!
“What an atmosphere!”
A few years ago, a woman came to our center. She worked at the Storting (the Norwegian Parliament). When she entered the lobby of the center, she cried out: “What an atmosphere there is here!!” In the Bible, we can read about certain places God chooses to perform miracles. Carmel was one place, the Pool of Bethesda another. Perhaps our center is such a special place, chosen by God for miracles? Many thousands of prayers ascend to heaven from this place every year. Often, Solveig and I take a few prayer walks around the building before we start our workday. This helps to create a certain “spiritual pressure” in the atmosphere in and around the building. One person put it this way: “When I walk past this center, I can feel that there is a strong protection around this place.”
It has happened that people who have had appointments for prayer have been healed on their way to the center or in the waiting room, or while they have been waiting in the phone queue! A young man did not dare to come inside, but sat trembling in his car in the parking lot under the power of God. It has also happened that some have been healed just because I happened to look at them, greet them, pat them on the shoulder—or by sick people placing one of my books on their sick bodies.
One thing is for sure: when it comes to oil miracles, we have lost count!
“Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number.”
Job 5:9
Perhaps from now on we should offer sick people to come to the center for meditation and prayer in the main hall? A place where they can quietly draw in the power that rests over this place.
