Many homes need a renewed atmosphere, an atmosphere of holiness and power. Through TV and social media, many have allowed a negative influence to gain entry into our homes. Every home needs a daily, divine cleansing process.

Over time, spiritual powers can infect homes. God has a power that can cleanse the atmosphere. I have even experienced demonic forces fleeing from houses with hauntings—with the help of prayer and anointing cloths! If we open up to occult forces, they gladly enter and establish a place where they can dwell. The atmosphere follows.

According to the Gospels, power can be transferred from an anointed person to a garment. In the Gospels, it is stated in several places that the sick were healed by touching Jesus’ clothes (Mark 3:10; 6:56; Luke 6:19). Spittle from Jesus’ mouth could also carry the Spirit’s power for healing (Mark 7:33; 8:23; John 9:6). Many were healed by being anointed with a consecrated anointing oil. The power of the anointing oil was so strong that possessed people were delivered by being anointed with this special oil.

“And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.”
Mark 6:13

The spiritual powers could not withstand the power of the consecrated anointing oil that Jesus had given to His disciples.

Spiritual powers also react to cloth from an anointed person

God’s power can heal through a consecrated anointing cloth. But spiritual powers have feelings and can easily sense that an anointed anointing cloth carries the power of the Spirit, the opposite power of what is in them. From movements operating in the occult field, one can hear of amulets that carry occult powers within them. In the opposite sense, anointing cloths that are consecrated with anointing oil and prayer can be carriers of God’s power. Here is an example from Paul’s ministry in Ephesus:

“Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.”
Acts 19:11–12

Notice that these miracles happened because God’s anointing had attached itself to his clothes. That is to say: Normally, such miracles accompany those who have the anointing of “gifts of healings” and “the working of miracles.” (1 Corinthians 12:9–10)

We are now talking about the radiation of power from an anointed object, here: a consecrated garment that had been worn by a consecrated and anointed person, Paul.

Examples from Jesus Heals Ministries’ ministry

The woman from a place in Troms. A few years ago, a desperate mother called from a place in Troms. One weekend, her teenage daughter had been visited by a young woman from another part of the county. The young woman who came to visit set up a spirit board and showed her how to ask the glass about various things in life.

After this weekend visit, strange things began to happen in the house. One could hear someone walking on the stairs, doors being opened, drawers being opened and closed, knocking on walls, etc. One day, an evil figure entered the room of the 17-year-old, who was lying in bed. This was unbearable. The girl’s mother called me and asked for help. I prayed for the house and sent her five consecrated anointing cloths. I asked her to attach an anointing cloth over the front door and one in each room where they had heard hauntings. This was done the same day she received the letter from me. That same evening, something happened: “Suddenly, I heard a racket in the outer hallway. Then the front door was opened. A person ran out and slammed the door behind them in anger. Then everything became quiet and has been so ever since,” she told me on the phone. The spiritual powers could not withstand the power radiation of the five anointing cloths.

The house in Southern Norway

We know a married couple in Southern Norway who had a son who rented an apartment where strange things manifested on the attic floor. He lived on the first floor, and no one lived on the floor above. The young man could hear someone walking on the floor of the upper level—and other strange noises. His parents asked us for help. We consecrated five anointing cloths and asked him to hang them up where he had heard noises. That same evening, he suddenly heard someone run from one end of the house on the attic floor and out the wall on the opposite side. The demon could not withstand the power from the anointing cloths. After this, the house became quiet.
