↑ MIRACLE: Randi Steffensen received a repaired large hole in a tooth with new tooth substance after prayer at Telekirken.
Randi Hånes Steffensen has previously worked in several places in Vefsn municipality. Among other things, she has been a secretary at a law office, worked at Mosjøen Veveri, and at a telecommunications office. She is now on disability benefits. Originally she comes from Leirfjord, but moved to Mosjøen in her teens.
Good teeth?
Two years ago, the dentist told her she had good teeth and did not need to return for two years. Time has passed, and the other day she received a recall notice for a new check-up. Over the course of four to five months, a molar on the left side of her lower jaw has started acting up. Here is her story:
“Thirty years ago, a dentist discovered that I had periodontitis, gum disease. Therefore, the dentist advised me to clean my teeth with small toothpicks to reduce the inflammation. I was afraid that the tooth would break and was careful when I ate.
Four to five months ago, I discovered that a hole had appeared in one of the teeth in the lower jaw on the left side. The hole eventually became large. A few months ago, I chewed something hard. It turned out to be a part of the tooth that had broken to pieces. The hole started at the top of the tooth and extended quite a way down into the neck of the tooth. It was about one cm long and went half a cm into the tooth. The large hole was jagged and deep. Half the tooth was gone!” says Randi thoughtfully.

Since February 2006, Jesus Heals Ministries has organized a telephone church every Wednesday at 8 and 9 PM. Here, anyone can call in and connect. There is room for 500 listeners, and everyone can hear everyone else. Many thousands participate here every year. A few years ago, an NRK program won an award for a segment about the Tele-Church.
Randi had heard about our Tele-Church and had been there listening to my preaching, testimonies of healing, and heard many prayers. She had never sought prayer for the broken tooth. If you have a cavity in a tooth, you naturally go to the dentist, she thought.
Randi was sure of her case: “If I had gone to the dentist, I think he would have filed down half the tooth and rebuilt it, or just pulled it.”
Miracles in the Tele-Church
But God wanted it differently. Over the last few weeks, three different Tele-Church visitors have experienced getting an almost empty oil bottle to become almost full! And for one of them, it has happened twice, in two different meetings! And it always came after I had asked God for His power to refill the bottle with anointing. God had simply created more oil in the almost empty bottles! To great wonder!
During the prayer for the sick on Wednesday, June 2nd this year, I suddenly thought of praying for those who had cavities in their teeth.
“I ask you, God, to heal teeth with cavities. Fill them with gold, silver, or tooth substance. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
During the prayer, Randi put a hand on her left cheek, over the tooth with the large cavity. “I didn’t believe that God could fill decayed teeth. Besides, I wanted neither gold nor silver in any tooth, only pure tooth substance,” says Randi and laughs. Still, she had the door of faith ever so slightly ajar.
Randi did not notice anything special during the prayer in the Tele-Church. She was home alone this evening. Her husband was on a trip to Oslo. After the meeting in the Tele-Church, around 10 PM, she ate a little supper and watched some TV. Then she brushed her teeth and got ready to go to bed. Only then did she notice a change in her mouth.

“Could this be possible?”
“It felt as if I had been for treatment at the dentist’s. It felt as if the tooth with the large cavity had become more solid and had been strengthened with stronger roots,” she says in amazement. When she was about to pick out food scraps from the cavity in the damaged tooth, there was no longer a cavity there! She searched and poked with the toothpick, but could not find the hole. She searched in vain. Then it began to dawn on her: Svein-Magne had asked God for a tooth miracle—and now it had happened!
“I was so happy that I sent a gift to Jesus Heals Ministries and added a red heart. About twenty times I had to look at myself in the mirror to be sure that a miracle had really happened. Then I went to sleep, but I had to get up in the middle of the night to look at myself in the bathroom mirror. The hole was gone, both in the molar and in the neck of the tooth! I was afraid that I would lose the miracle when I woke up the next morning.”
The next morning I called my husband who was on a trip in Oslo: ‘I’ve got a new tooth!’ But he didn’t believe it could be possible. ‘It must be that you brushed your teeth with a good toothpaste,’ he replied jokingly.”

In Mosjøen, there is a happy 65-year-old who does not hide her joy. To me, she says: “I am so happy, you cannot imagine! Can this be possible? This is just incredible!”
Randi is quiet by nature. Nevertheless, she has told a few friends about the miracle. Soon, it will likely be more. Such rumors spread quickly! Her daughter and others in her family had seen the large hole and heard her complain about the bad tooth. She and several others can testify to a miracle from God!
God has not stopped performing miracles. He has not amputated His creative power. God can even create new teeth! This is just the beginning of something much greater. Welcome to the Telechurch!
