We ourselves determine the degree of God's power that comes from us. It goes in parallel with our dedication.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
Ephesians 3:20
If we are saved, we have the Spirit's power inside us. But: God's power only works in parallel with the power that comes from us, according to the fullness of dedication and spiritual state we are in. We limit the Spirit's use of us if we do not live in the fullness and power of the Spirit “that works in us.”
How much God can use us today depends on our dedication and the spiritual gifts God can utilize in our lives. We ourselves, therefore, contribute to either STRENGTHENING or LIMITING the possibility of the degree God can use us. This is something we really need to think about!
