The task of the Christian is not to be moral police, weeding out spiritual weeds among the people of unbelief, but instead to blossom even more, in the midst of the 'field of weeds'. 

Jesus calls us the 'light of the world':

'You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.'

Matt 5:14–16 

'For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.'

2 Cor 2:15

Being the 'fragrance of Christ' implies that we shall have an influence in our society with our lives, which should resemble the life of Jesus. The Bible does not speak about secret Christians. The fruit of the new life will make us different, both in speech, conduct, and deeds. We will quickly be 'discovered', for the light shines stronger than the darkness.
