Does your faith get tested to the point that it reaches the threshold of pain? God has no plans to harm you. His goal is to see you safely through life's difficulties. He cannot be blamed for everything that happens around us in a world that lies in wickedness. Nevertheless, as the good shepherd He is, He has pre-cleared future trials: 

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."

1 Cor 10:13

God is in control in all circumstances. The trials can be great, but it is reassuring to know that they have all passed before His foresighted eyes. When you and I face them, they have already been through His checkpoint and have received acceptance. Fortunately – the trials have a "way of escape". The adversity lasts for a while, but then it ends. And we enjoy the victory and deliverance.
