“Noah walked with God.”

Genesis 6:9

This implied three things: He listened to God's voice. He trusted God. He obeyed God – and was saved from the flood! 

He was obedient to God's call and built an ark which probably took 120 years to build. In God's time, the flood came in which the entire earth's population drowned. Only Noah and his family of eight were saved in the ark.

“And did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly.”

2 Peter 2:5 (NKJV)

Obedience to God's word and God's call has great fruits that will be revealed and experienced later in life. 

If you want to be preserved and live long – do as Noah did!
