Couple with Asthma

Once in the 90s, you visited Sundby in Saltdalen. My wife and I came there. Only I had an appointment for prayer with you. I told you that she struggled a lot with asthma. She had had it since she was about 40 years old. The doctor had given her two types of medication. You were willing to pray for her. “Send her in, I’ll give her five minutes,” you said. My wife went into the prayer room. There you prayed for her. Two weeks later, she decided to stop taking the two asthma medications that the doctor had prescribed for her. The asthma did not return. Since then, she has been healthy.

I got asthma in the late 80s. It became difficult to breathe. I decided to borrow my wife’s asthma medication. Then I immediately breathed easier. I went to the doctor, and he confirmed that I had asthma. He told me to start taking two types of medication. In October 2012, you visited Bodø. The Bykirka organized meetings with you. I went there. Late at night, it was my turn to receive prayer. Two weeks after you prayed for me, I stopped taking the asthma medication. Since then, I haven’t felt anything of the asthma. I had an X-ray just before Christmas in 2012. The doctor found that my lungs were clean. God has healed us both from asthma.
