15 Years with Open Wounds That Wouldn’t Heal

For nearly 15 years, I had open wounds on my hands and feet that would not heal. I have been treated at Haukeland Hospital in Bergen, Innherred Hospital in Levanger, and St. Olav's Hospital in Trondheim. Here, I have received radiation treatment and treatment with many different types of ointments, but nothing has helped. Living with this was a great suffering. I had to wear white cotton gloves on my hands to protect the wounds. Walking was a terribly painful experience. I could barely walk. My husband had to help me with the housework. The doctors told me that they could not promise me that I would get well. I was often on sick leave, and in the end, I was given disability benefits due to the severe pain in my hands and feet.

Ten to twelve years ago, I wrote to you and received an anointing cloth that I placed on myself. Nothing happened until three weeks had passed. Then the wounds began to heal. In a short time, I was well. I have been ever since. It is nearly ten years since I was healed.
