Power to heal

Jesus gave his disciples power to heal:

"And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease."

Matt 10:1

The word "power" implies authority over illnesses in spirit, soul, and body. Both mental and physical ailments, internal diseases, and possession.

Jesus has given us authority in His name to heal the sick. Just as a police officer has the power and right to arrest a lawbreaker, we have been delegated power in His name to arrest all kinds of illnesses and ailments in sick people.

No matter what name you have for your ailment – God is interested in healing you. Expect a miracle to happen at any time. Persevere in prayer until the answer comes.

"Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving."

Col 4:2

After 50 years in the healing ministry, my motto is this:

The more we pray, the more will happen.

Many have told me that after many prayers, the answer has arrived. I once prayed around 40 times for a woman who was HIV-positive. Not until then did the miracle happen: She was healed, confirmed twice after two blood tests by a doctor. I then think: If the woman had given up after 30 prayers, she would probably be dead now. But she lives, free from HIV.

Disease represents a negative force because it originates in the fall of man. To defeat this enemy, we must meet negative force with positive force: The prayer of faith based on the victory of the gospel.

Here is a biblical principle:

"He who endures to the end shall be saved."

Matt 24:13

It is written nowhere in the Bible: Give up! So we do not give up either, but lift the banner of hope! At the end of the tunnel, the answer to prayer awaits.
