God does not heal the sick just so we can have a new testimony to tell. He heals primarily because His love for the sick drives Him. 

"And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick."

Matthew 14:14 (NKJV)

The word for "compassion" in the original language is the strongest word in Greek for compassion. It means to identify with the sick person's pain and suffering, to put oneself in the sick person's shoes and feel it as the sick person feels it. This is why I take time with the sick when I pray for them. I open my heart to God, listen to what the sick person says, and wait for God's power to start working. In this way, I align myself with God's Spirit. Then I operate as Jesus did.

People must never be seen as products on a factory's assembly line! Each person has their unique value and originality, and they need to grasp, understand, and feel it! I love people and long to witness miracles when I pray for the sick. 

The key is: Become like Jesus! He "was moved with compassion"!
