To heal a sick person is a good deed:
“If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.”
Acts 4:9–10 (NKJV)
Testimony
Avoided having surgery in the colon
The doctors discovered that my brother had suffered a stroke in the colon. He had abdominal pain. They planned to operate on him. But then I called you and received intercessory prayer for this condition. The doctors examined him again. They discovered that the stroke had disappeared. They said it was the first time they had seen a stroke in a colon disappear on its own, without surgery. My brother did not know that you had prayed for him, but now I have told him that. It is two–three years since you prayed for him.
Prostate cancer
At the hospital in Tromsø, the doctors diagnosed prostate cancer. They took samples from the prostate. They inserted six needles, and cancer was found in two of them. The PSA was then 17.6. I told the doctors that I did not want treatment for the cancer. I wanted to go to the great physician with my problem. They accepted that. Two years ago, I attended a meeting at the Family Church in Myre, Vesterålen. There, you prayed for me. I felt a strong warmth flow into my abdomen. Later, I called you and received intercessory prayer. Three months later, I returned to the doctor for a follow-up. Then the PSA had dropped to 4.2! This is a good result. I told my doctor that I had received intercessory prayer from you.
