When healing is scarce, God longs to provide healing:
Is there no balm in Gilead? Or is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people? Jer 8:22 When healing is withheld, the sick ask: “Why, God? Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable? It refuses to be healed.”

Mononucleosis
Three years ago, my grandchild got mononucleosis. The illness caused him not to be able to attend school for over half a year. He was so weak in the legs that he had to use a wheelchair. Just before Christmas three years ago, he called you, and you prayed for him. Three–four days later, he was able to leave the wheelchair and was freed from the mononucleosis.
Healed on Holmgang
For a year, I had pain in my neck and shoulders. One evening in October 2005, you were a guest on Holmgang. While you prayed for the sick there, I went to the television and placed my hands on the screen. The next day, I was free of the pain. Since then, I have been well!
