The Bible's first healing – Abraham prays for the pagan king Abimelech in Gerar and several in his house:

So Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants; then they bore children.

Genesis 20:17 (NKJV)

Testimony

Heart Failure

I have had heart attacks four times, which led to heart failure. You prayed for me at the office in Vennesla a few years ago. After this, I gradually improved. Eventually, I became completely well. Since then, I have been free from heart failure.

Childlessness – healed through television

I had several operations on my ovaries. Part of the fallopian tube and ovary was removed. The doctors said that I couldn't have children in the normal way. Using IVF, they gave me a 20 percent chance of becoming pregnant. I was scheduled for IVF at the end of 1997. For five years, my husband and I tried to have children without success. In the late 90s, you prayed for the sick on a TV program. I was home alone at the time. No one was to know what I was doing. I placed a hand on the television while you prayed for the sick. It couldn't hurt to try, I thought. Two weeks later, I became pregnant! My son Markus was born on December 30, 1997!

I pray for healing…

“Dear Jesus, thank you for the care you have for me who is sick. Thank you for paying for all my illnesses and afflictions on the cross. Therefore, I have the boldness to come to you with my illness, for I know that you do not want me to bear the illness, therefore I ask that you remove the illness and deliver me from evil. The Bible indeed says that ‘He has borne our sorrows.’ Healing is therefore a gift to me that you, Jesus, have already given me when you died on the cross. You who once healed all those who came to you with their sufferings - do it for me as well today. Let the power of your Holy Spirit flow through me, and make me completely well, either immediately or little by little. I stand on your word, wait for your healing, and thank you for wanting to heal me. Thank you for your unlimited grace and love toward me. In Jesus' name, amen.”
