Prayer Not to Die Prematurely:
I said: "O my God, do not take me away in the midst of my days; Your years are throughout all generations."
Psalm 102:25
Testimony
Schizophrenia
For 25 years I suffered from schizophrenia. I am now 41 years old, but I have had this condition since I was 16. In my head, there was a jumble of thoughts, and I heard voices. On April 1, 2011, you attended an alternative fair in Trondheim. I went there. Here I accepted Jesus and was saved. Here you also prayed for the schizophrenia. Over time, I gradually got better and better. For several years I received disability benefits, but after you prayed for me, I improved so much that I returned the disability benefits. Now I work nearly 80 percent of a full position. Soon I'll start full-time, as I am nearly healed from schizophrenia.
Psychosis
From 1995, I suffered from psychosis. Every year, I was admitted once or twice to a psychiatric hospital in Stavanger or Bodø. The stays lasted a couple of months each time. Here I received treatment. There were times I was in a restraint bed. Several times the police had to handcuff me. I was very psychotic then, living in my own world. The treatment helped somewhat, but I did not fully recover. In 2003, I was so unwell that a doctor took my driver's license. This year, I contacted you and received prayer over the phone. Then things started to change. I gradually got better. Since receiving prayer, I have not been admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Now I am completely well. I have now become the deputy leader of a mental health association in my hometown.
