“I used a magnifying glass”
I had developed cataracts in both eyes and underwent surgery for it. But my vision did not improve. Three times I got new glasses, but they didn't help, and it cost me 18,000 NOK. My vision was so poor that sometimes I bumped into people. Therefore, I preferred to go without glasses. When I needed to read, I had to use a magnifying glass. There was something wrong with my vision. I also had astigmatism.
No longer rheumatoid arthritis
For five years, my daughter suffered from painful rheumatoid arthritis. It was diagnosed at the hospital in Hammerfest and Kirkenes. All joints were affected, but the hands were the worst. She couldn't hold a cup of coffee in her hand. Her fingers were both stiff and painful, and she couldn't clench her hands. Over the years, she got worse and worse.
