Cast your sicknesses and ailments on the Lord:

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 55:22 (NKJV)

Testimony

The Broken Leg Was Healed

I fell down a basement staircase and broke one of my arms. At the hospital, X-rays of the arm were taken. The doctor showed me the X-ray image of the arm and pointed to a clear fracture. A nurse was also there and saw the same thing as the doctor and me. “Here is a fracture,” he said. The doctor put a cast on my arm and said I had to keep it on for eight weeks, as I am over 70 years old. That same evening, you were on television and prayed for the sick. I placed my hand on the television and felt the pain begin to disappear immediately. The next day, the doctor from the hospital called and said it was not a fracture after all. I had to go to the hospital and have the cast removed. The doctor was embarrassed about this. He looked ashamed. He did not know that I had been healed when you prayed on television. God must have changed the X-rays at the same time I got well.

“God Gave Me Sleep Back”

After I stopped working six years ago, I started to sleep poorly. The doctor gave me sleeping pills. I only took them when I absolutely had to. Some time ago, I bought the CD set Healing Words for Healing. Here, you read promises of healing from the whole Bible. At the end of each of the two CDs, you pray for the sick. One evening, I was lying in bed listening to you as you read from the Bible. Then I felt something move inside my head. I also felt a tight band around my head. This lasted for eight to ten minutes. Then I became tired and fell asleep. Since then, I have slept well. I thank and praise God who gave me sleep back. I no longer need sleeping pills.

I pray for healing…

“Dear Jesus, thank you for the care you have for me who is sick. Thank you for paying for all my illnesses and afflictions on the cross. Therefore, I have the boldness to come to you with my illness, for I know that you do not want me to bear the illness, therefore I ask that you remove the illness and deliver me from evil. The Bible indeed says that ‘He has borne our sorrows.’ Healing is therefore a gift to me that you, Jesus, have already given me when you died on the cross. You who once healed all those who came to you with their sufferings - do it for me as well today. Let the power of your Holy Spirit flow through me, and make me completely well, either immediately or little by little. I stand on your word, wait for your healing, and thank you for wanting to heal me. Thank you for your unlimited grace and love toward me. In Jesus' name, amen.”

Therefore I have the confidence to come to you with my illness, for I know that you do not want me to bear the sickness, therefore I pray that you remove the illness and deliver me from the evil one.

The Bible says that ‘Surely He has borne our griefs.’ Healing is therefore a gift to me that you, Jesus, have already given me when you died on the cross. You who once healed all who came to you with their sufferings – do it for me today. Let the power of your Holy Spirit flow through me, and make me perfectly healthy, either immediately or gradually.
