↑ THE STATEMENT OF FAITH: In the article, Svein-Magne Pedersen shares the statement of faith on which Jesus Heals Ministries is built.
All Christian churches have a creed. Here is a short version of what we in Jesus Heals Ministries believe:
We believe that there are absolute, eternal truths, created by God Himself.
God is triune and eternal – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, omnipresent, the creator of all things, both invisible and visible. He is the ruler over the entire universe.
The Bible is inspired by God and is, according to the original texts, completely without error in all it states.
Jesus Christ, God's only Son, was sent by God from heaven to earth through the virgin birth – to save humanity. He lived a sinless life. Jesus is 100 percent man and 100 percent God in one person.
Satan is God's adversary, a real person – not just a symbolic figure. He tempted Adam and Eve to break God's command not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. Humanity fell under God's judgment, spiritually, physically, and eternally and needs to be born again, through repentance and salvation, to achieve fellowship with God.
A person is a sinner and cannot enter heaven because of good deeds. Sin must be atoned for, but no human, in their sinful state, is capable.
Jesus' atoning death for our sins was complete and is the only reason God can forgive us.
Jesus Christ was bodily resurrected from the dead, thereby proving that He is God's Son and that all human sins are atoned for, and all diseases, which are a result of the fall, are fully paid for.
In God's time, at the end of times, Jesus will return invisibly to earth to rapture all believers to heaven. Here, their lives on earth will be reviewed and rewarded. The Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, will be fully united with the bride, the church. Some years later, Jesus, along with His bride, will return visibly to earth to judge the world and establish His kingdom for a period of a thousand years. It will be almost like heaven on earth, with the devil locked and sealed in an invisible prison in the earth's interior.
After a period of about a thousand years, the end of the world will come. The world and the entire universe will burn up and disappear. Judgment Day comes, and the world will be judged before the great white throne in heaven. All the unsaved from all history, who do not have their names written in the Book of Life, will be cast into hell along with the devil and his angels.
Eternity then begins where all believers will experience eternal life in their new home, the new Jerusalem, an enormous colossal city, built of pure, heavenly gold. It is built as a cube, 1,500 miles in every direction! Here is God's throne and here the believers will live, worship, and serve God for all eternity.
The circle is complete. The earthly paradise is replaced with the heavenly one.
