God can do incredible things through a person who is totally surrendered to the Lord, His plan, and His will. God called David “a man after My own heart” (Acts 13:22). He showed humility before God and was quick to confess his sins when he failed (Psalm 32 and 51).

David had an undivided heart to serve God. He could not stand to hear Goliath defy God, but he challenged him in God's strength and won.

Let us say with the prophet Isaiah:

“Here am I! Send me.”

Isaiah 6:8

We should say these words every day and be ready to be used by God, to be a witness to at least one person each day. Being God's emissary is a great honor. We should cherish this ministry and keep it at the top of our to-do list every day.

For Jesus, this was a high priority:

“I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Matthew 9:13

He placed evangelism at the top of His priority list.
