Gold nuggets
The right confession
Let us confess:
"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it!"
Ps 118:24
Speak to yourself the same as God has said in His Word. Why? The Bible says it:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."
Prov 18:21
If we speak negatively, we reap negative fruit. If we speak positively, we reap positive fruit. This is a law in the spiritual realm. Through confession, negative or positive, we set negative or positive invisible forces in motion. The Bible speaks of both God's power and the devil's power. Which forces do we represent daily? The Bible says we should only confess positively:
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."
Heb 10:23
The Gospel is called "the Good News". No reason to be a "grump" in our relationship with people we meet on our journey through life. Be a joyful and caring representative for Him! Smile at people. It is the easiest and cheapest way to tell others: "I'm doing well." Later you can tell them why you're doing well. Become a "missionary of smiles."
The evangelist Philip once came to a city in Samaria.
"He preached Christ to them."
Acts 8:5
Many came to faith, and several were healed and freed from demons (Acts 8:7,12).
And the result was:
"And there was great joy in that city."
Acts 8:8
The Gospel of Jesus Christ triggers salvation joy. Let people see that you are saved and possess "the joy of salvation" (Ps 51:12).
