Waiting on the Lord is an important spiritual art. If we want to be rightly guided through life, it is a correct step to take. Jesus is called “the good shepherd” (John 10:11). Sheep that run from the shepherd get lost and hurt themselves. We make mistakes by running ahead of him. 

While we wait for God's guidance, God will put together solutions for our situation. The Bible says:

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31

Stop, think – and wait.
