The correct attitude towards illness is important: In the same way that we resist sin, we should resist illness. For both originally come from the devil and are completely defeated by Jesus on the cross. We must not make any 'friendship pact' with either party. 

They are both things we can daily defeat by the power of the Holy Spirit, for He will 'give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you' (Romans 8:11 NKJV).

God's active, life-giving power will drive illness out of your body. 

We pray that the answer to your prayer will manifest in your sick body.
