As Christians, we are called to be God's voice in our times. This means that we speak against what is wrong and point to the power of the gospel for salvation and freedom. We must let our voice be heard, for if we do not speak, no one will, and the gospel makes no progress. 

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

God's Spirit will give us courage and strength to be witnesses for Jesus in a dark world that "lies under the sway of the wicked one" (Acts 1:8; 1 John 5:19).

Jesus calls the believer "the light of the world" (Matt 5:14). Perhaps you are the only light in your family, in your place, in your classroom, or at your workplace?

Let the light stand on the lampstand:

Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand. It gives light to all who are in the house.

Be a bearer of light for the Lord, say what needs to be said, led by God's Spirit.
