A few years ago, Svein-Magne spoke at the Kristkirken in Bergen. Shortly before, a violent man had stabbed me in the neck with a knife. A doctor at Haukland believed that a tendon and perhaps also a muscle had been cut. I had to undergo surgery to mend the tendon. There was only a 50 percent chance of success with such an operation. After the speech, Svein-Magne said that the sick could place a hand on the sick area while he prayed. I placed a hand on my sore shoulder while he prayed. Suddenly, I was able to stretch my arm straight up into the air, something I hadn't been able to do in the past year. I could barely lift a cup. Now I can lift heavy things. Since then, my arm has been good. I am glad that God healed me that evening in the Kristkirken!
